Definition
An agreement between two or more economies to reduce or eliminate tariffs on goods originating in the parties.
Explanation
Each FTA has its own special preferential tariff schedule (issued by Decree), origin rules and proof of origin. Goods only receive the FTA rate when origin and procedural conditions are met.
