A document issued by a competent authority (or self-certified by the exporter, depending on the agreement) confirming the origin of goods.
Explication
Each FTA prescribes its own proof (Form E, D, AK, AJ, VK, EUR.1, self-certification…). Submission deadlines, tolerated errors and verification rules differ by agreement.
Exemple
Goods from China under ACFTA need a valid Form E.
