About the organisation
The US oil and natural gas industry association, developing hundreds of standards for oil and gas equipment, materials and operations (API 5L line pipe, API 650 storage tanks, API 6D valves) and running the API Monogram licensing programme.
API standards are default requirements on oil and gas projects worldwide; Vietnamese pipe, tank and valve makers need API Q1/Monogram licensing to supply them.
